ABOUT

Teenagers in Park

Are you ready for a fun interactive group game that will teach your students about REAL LIFE? I will emphasize INTERACTIVE! The students will be engaging in hands-on activities and interacting with each other, like a real community. They will learn about various careers, what it takes to get into college and what college demands. They will count and manage money, buy or rent homes, and learn many more life skills. They will make choices along the way and will be learning from their choices. This may sound like a game for just high school students or adults, but rest assured, it is designed so that younger students, 10 and older, can grasp an early understanding of life and what lies ahead . Be prepared for your students to have a great time and learn a lot! This game is a great tool for all educators and leaders.

Duration: This game is to be played over 8 days/sessions. Sessions build upon each other. Each session will take approximately 1 hour. It may take longer if you have a large class size. There is room for some flexibility in the schedule.

Group play: You can purchase the game with either 5 or 7 careers. If you have more than seven students, you can divide them into communities with 7 students in each community. Each student will be issued a career, salary amount, a vehicle, and money to start. At each session, the students will be issued a task card with interactive activities to complete during the session.  They will also keep track of their money by using a running ledger. Let the fun and learning begin!

Volunteers: You may need volunteers to help especially if you are using this for a larger class setting.

Prep: There is a bit of prep work that needs to be done ahead of time. Printing, cutting, gathering supplies, and organizing.
